What it says when it knows nothing.

First launch on a machine that had never held the engine. It declines to render a verdict it does not have, and names the cause. Not “unknown.” Not an error. No verdict available.

What it does not do.

The extension observes. It does not block writes, does not intercept your agent, and does not stop anything from touching your disk. The VS Code extension API gives no extension that power over another.

If the chain is broken, you will see that it is broken. Nothing was prevented.

Status
Built and gated. Verified on a second machine that had never held the engine. Not yet published — when it is, it will be on Open VSX and the Visual Studio Marketplace under jourdanlabs.
